As far as verifying the game cache - right-click on you Far Cry 3 icon in your games library, select properties, select local files, select 'Verify the Integrity of your Game Cache'. Steam will then download and install any missing and/or corrupted files.

Thanks to SamaelShih, it has been figured out that TabletInputService forces FarCry3.exe to crash, when enabled. To solve the crash problem: 1) Open Task Manager. 2) Go to Services. 3) Identify TabletInputService (Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service) 4) Stop the service.

I use a sound bar with rear speakers, so that may have had something with my particular issue. But I also had not noticed any weird audio in other games I was playing. (So I figured maybe an Ubisoft thing, maybe just a game thing) it was literally unplayable until I fixed it.

All of a sudden my audio for all cutscenes is gone. Volume is fine, all sounds whilst playing the game are fine. I have tried different cutscenes - all are the same in GfdNh.
