On their sophomore effort, King Crimson understandably goes in a very similar direction as their debut. After a short one-minute acapella track, "Pictures Of A City" acts as an opener that follows in pretty much the exact same course as "21st Century Schizoid Man", the opener of their previous album, with its heavy guitars and jazz-influenced saxophone.
