KÀynnistÀ Stop-tekniikan kÀyttö. Start Stop on uusin tekniikka, joka alkoi sisÀllyttÀÀ moderneihin ajoneuvoihin noin kymmenen vuotta sitten. TÀmÀn tekniikan tavoitteena on rajoittaa skoda octaviasi polttoaineenkulutusta ja sÀÀstÀÀ ympÀristöÀ rajoittamalla CO2-pÀÀstöjÀ pÀÀstöt. Sen mukavuus on ensisijaisesti tÀrkeÀÀBit off-topic but on my current car I actually coded out start/stop. On the previous car (manual), even though I did not much like it it, it kinda worked OK - come to a halt, shift to neutral, foot on the brake, car goes off. To start, foot on the clutch, engine starts, shift into gear and off you go. Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021) Fabia mk 3 Stop/Start. A few months after I took delivery of my 2016 Skoda Fabia, the Stop/Start function ceased to work. I took the car in to my local dealership for the fault to be investigated. When I collected the car I was told the function was working, after they had placed the battery on charge all day. I've just switched from a '14 Octavia 2.0TDi to a' 69 Karoq Sportline 1.5tsi (both DSG). One d ifference I've noticed is with the start/stop feature. On the Octavia, it would only stop the engine if the brake was fully depressed, but the Karoq doesn't seem to be so easily fooled, and the engine stops whenever the car comes to a stop, regardless of how much force is on the brake pedal. andyvee. Charge your battery first. It isn't an error, it is a valid reason for Start Stop to be disabled as the battery voltage is too low. My battery charge indicator has not gone above 80%, even after a 3 hour motorway drive in daytime, it isn't a reliable indication of battery charge in my opinion.
Seems odd you press the Stop / Start button to enable the system. The button is to turn off Stop / Start and therefore it will start your engine up! The symbol is @ off And the manual should state that pressing this button disables the Stop / Start, so keeps engine running 24/7 if fuel allows.
