The sterile saline spray when sprayed directly on a tragus piercing helps to flush the piercing and also rinse off any dirt, bacteria, and buildup that may occur on or around the jewelry. Recommended brands of sterile saline spray are Nielmed, H2Ocean, and Sterile Saline Wound Wash. Can you wear headphones with a tragus piercing?
At the time I only wore over-ear headphones so it wasn't an issue, but it also means I never tested what he said. Has anyone had trouble with earbuds for certain piercings (tragus or otherwise)? I can see why an inner-ear one would mean avoiding earbuds while it was new and sensitive, but I'd like to double check because I wear them a lot now.
The double helix piercing is typically found on the upper part of your ear cartilage, as shown in the accompanying image, though it can also be located a little bit lower along the helix. The double forward helix piercing is located just across from the double helix location, in the forward part of your cartilage, which is above the tragus.

Hi hello! I got my tragus done about 2 weeks ago and really love it. Healing nicely! One thing I didn't think through using headphones when it is…
Yes, but not initially. You need to wait at least three months before wearing your earbuds or headphones as it could irritate your tragus piercing, slow down healing and possibly cause an infection. You can also wear over the ear headphones that don’t apply pressure to the piercing.
I've found the only piercing that's been a major issue with earbuds is a tragus. Rooks can be tricky especially if you have the shaped earbuds with the little extra bit that hooks into the upper part of your ear, I imagine that might be an issue with daiths as well but I don't have one so couldn't comment
calicakes54 • 2 yr. ago. I had both my tragus pierced. Did not hurt much at all. 1/10, seriously. I heard no crunching, and I have thick cartilage. You can’t wear AirPods or earbuds for a good six months, though, if you want it to heal well, and do not sleep in it. It hurt less than ear lobes for me. Pain is different for everyone, though.
