You may have a Karoo 3 that takes you to 115 mph no problems. Change out wheels to identical tires and at 85 mph there is an induced wobble. Karoo 3’s are R rated to 106 mph. TKC 80’s Q rating 100 mph. I had a KTM 1290 Super Adventure T which came with Conti Trial 2’s. which are V rated tires 149 mph.

My 2 month old 2021 890 R has a little bit of condensation in the left of the screen. Dealer has ordered me a new screen under warranty. He said they’ll get it sorted straight away as they’d seen the same issue on 790’s steadily get worse until you could no longer see the display clearly. #12. phm14 , Jul 15, 2021.
I have owned 3 KTM's, 2 bmw's and 7 japanese bikes. 0 problem with the japanese brands, a lot of troubles with 1 bmw, small problems on 1 of my ktm's and a lot of problems on another of my ktm's. The thing is: I have forgotten all my previous bikes, except 2 of my ktm's, because they were the most fun bikes I have ever ridden.
May 24, 2010. Oddometer: 55. Location: Lake Isabella, CA. My 2020 790 adventure with 22,000 miles recently would not start. The starter relay would click but not turn over. I could start the bike by shorting from battery positive to starter relay output. It started that way quickly.
